+I've made a few versions of a potential Threshold icon. I've used colours I felt like using, which aren't exactly what you asked for — and I am very happy to change them!
+
+It's also possible to change SVG colours in the code — it's basically CSS — so that could be a UI option. Allow users to choose primary, 2nd, etc?

+I've made a couple of versions that show the threshold above 0, in case we want to use the "Y=0" graphic later on (to illustrate something else?).

+To force myself to keep them simple, I've worked at 32x32px. Do you think there's room to increase the detail?

+I've also generated 64x64 @2x pngs in case they're useful.
